Sorry I had some link issues due to stupidity.

I need help finding out what brand of gauge this is. I realize it says SPUI on it but I can find nothing at all anywhere with SPUI as a company or otherwise.

The company could have went out of beuisness..but there would stil be some record of them somewhere..

What's the problem tho? Is it not working, or you need more info on a boost gauge or what?

I am concerned with it being a knock off and the potential for inaccurate readings. It seems to be working fine if I am running 10-12 psi but It sure feels alot like 7-8 to me.

on a side note I am very impressed, and glad to see such quick replies and obvious activity. I used to do the whole 240sx thing and the forums took days to get any sort of action.

First time DSM'er. and yes I have sunk 1500+ into the car since the drive home LOL. Seems like previous owner never took care of her. So I am doing all I can to bring her back to life.

Thank you very much for the info and I look forward to being a member.

Welcome to the dark side. Lol. People on here are quick to help, especially since I can be browsed on smartphones with an app (like in using).

It does look like a Glowshift, except for the glaring lack of the Glowshift name.

Just letting you know you read the letters wrong it is a little deceiving haha. Its not SPUI the initials are SPW. Try google'in it i got a bunch of hits. Also welcome, its always good to have another DSMer

How can it feel like 7-8 psi this is your first dsm..The only thing your have to compare it to is possibly a turbo 240..Which could have been built or on a different turbo than a stock dsm t25....

Do a boost leak test if your think its really only boosting 8psi..

Is it a mechanical gauge with a line atatched to it, or an electric gauge with just wires running to it?

yep, SPW. I used to have one identical years ago. They used to be an allright place to get aftermarket parts. I'm still rocking the SPW front strut bar. I believe they went under but don't hold me to it.

Yes i think they did go under. Ive read a couple post from other forums saying they couldnt find them anymore and the posts were dated a couple years back
