Well its time for a turbo upgrade. I just recently got rid of my big 16g, and now im looking for something with more power but with the same dependabilty. $850 is the max that i can spend
on a new turbo. so if any one can help me pick a internally gated turbo for this price please help! the only thing that ive seen so far is a tdo5 20g, bullseye, pte and some mutt turbos. Help me pick something that will do very good at 20psi on a cheezy 91octane, yet reliable and will last for 1yr+. bring on some suggestions and choices:thumb: .
oh yea, mods are in the profile.

A lot of people dont really like the idea of these but the Hahn Super 20G turbo maybe what your looking for>>>http://www.hahnracecraft.com/hahn/parts/s20g.htm. It has internal WG, 17 psi on 93 octane, supports 350hp-500hp and its like 700 or 750$ I forget at the moment...Ill go look real quick...its 800$. The only problem you may find with this turbo is that it has a 10cm^2 turbine housing so you will have to get a t03/04 exhaust manifold so that it will fit.

i was thinking of sbrs 20gs. because i belive hahns uses a different manifold and o2 housing.

goals are mid 12 and about 350 to the wheels with future improvements

The T04B V-Trim will easily meet your goals while keeping excellent street manors. The V-trim is capable of making 450 HP so it gives you more room to grow than the 20G will. It flows 48Lbs./min where the 20G typically flows 44 Lb/min. max. And best of all it can be had for under your budget, including a 38mm internal wastegate.

I say the 50-trim. the wheel is dubbed the pump gas king. Does verwell at 20 psi and there's plenty of flow athtat boost or a higher boost for cam upgrades, smim, etc. It remains efficient at higher boost levels and still flows very well. it is rated at 49 lbs/min. No one has ever complained about spool if you go with a t31 (t3 stage 3 wheel) turbine and stay at a .63 a/r turbine housing or smaller...

The V-trim is a good choice too and probably is cheaper. Many guys have had good results w/ the fp green, agp rs49, and the pte versions of the 50-trim. But I say either. Just giving you another choice.

50trim and v-trim sounds great but on the sbr turbo dyno it didnt do as good as the 20g. but that was on 116 octane. so does that mean that all three will perform less with 91oct? well im deciding between the three.
