help losing boost can't figure it out !

i have my boost spike to 23 and by redline it gradually falls to 16-17. i found that my knock off greddy bov had the seal fall out of it and i thought that was it but i put the seal back in and it still does it. i was for sure that was the problem .i have a 16g actuator on my 20g.

Have you done a boost leak test? The bov is probably still leaking.

i have not done another blt but it is loosing the same amount of boost as before 6-7 lbs ! the o ring had fell back in to the bov i replaced it and blew in it and it did not leak. i need some ideas.... i will blt it tomorrow ! i can also tighten the bov some more and see if it looses any less. i did have a small boost leak at the throttle body but i did not see it loosing 6-7lbs ?

I blew into the line for my boost gauge before I put it in and could only blow about 3psi, you need to use an air compressor, as for the throttle body leak you'd be very surprised, is it at a gasket or what?

the leak it at the throttle body shaft seals ! i guess i'll go ahead and order the seals to eliminate one less problem.

Check all clamps, Intercooler for punctures, and your wastegate. However sounds like your having issues with the chinese DV and the TB, fix the obvious first - keep us posted.
