ok will do later on to day. and the rubber seal... i realy cant figure out were it goes its to big fore the fp assembly only place it looks like it will fit is the locking cap.. i just left it dangling because it seemed to be attached to something....thnx

You really should just break loose the flare fitting below the gas tank underneath the car. It's a million times easier to undo, then you just pull that rubber line out with the hangar assembly.

i no i mite sound stupid but i am terrified of going under cars on jacks or jack stands, bad experience when i was you at my dads mechanic shop... so id rather not... any more suggestions?

umm nope i wasnt aware that the fwd and awd fuel tanks looked diffrent... acording to vfaq they look the same just the awd have floating switches 2G AWD fuel pump install
Ohh, I didn't realize those weren't your pictures in this thread.
Yeah, the tanks are different, but the fuel line in question isn't different.
I agree with the first guy - spray some penetrating lubricant on there and let it sit overnight. That should do the trick.

Haha you'll be under those jackstands alot if you own these cars. But technically, you don't have to get underneath the car, you can reach it from the side. It takes two seconds...

umm yea my car is lowerd so its hard to do from the side but ill give it a shot and jack it up.... just almost having a tractor fall on wen ## a kid takes a mental toll on you. no i like my dsm not switching hobbies guy.

I second the PB Blaster recomendation. I had to soak mine for over a week before they broke loose. I also put a block of wood between the hard line and the tank to take the stress off the tube weld.

Try one of those new freeze type spray lubricants, those seem to work pretty well also,

thanks guys i just asked my friend to pick me up a can... so another question i asked but every one seemed to miss.. umm the plastic gasket/ seal thing its realy realy flexable its black cylinder shape.. about .75 inches high ...were does it go or should i just not worry about it?

EDIT: ok im looking over the pics i took and it seems to go inside the seal cap.. so im going to try that later on...
