YouTube - Boost surge 1

YouTube - Boost surge 2

That sound pretty normal. My HKS makes the same sound. They are known to make the compressor surge noise when it's really only the bov. Which generation bov do you have? When it's vented, do you have the star shaped insert? That's what gives them the whistling noise rather than what you are showing in your vid.

i have the old one with the screw in the back its all the way out, which means soft? and i dont have an insert because i threw it out like an idiot when i recirculated it.

YouTube - What is Flutterdump?

i thought it was normal but i had a few ppl tell me otherwise, see in the vid, this is what it sounds like (the first part) but if everyone says its normal then thats all i needed to hear

Sounds pretty normal to me... .

If your worried about your turbo an You Actually do have Compressor surge.

Adjust your Bov if it's adjustable, Put a different BOV on, Check your vacuum lines to make sure your getting a direct source of vacuam... . If that all doesn't work the only thing I an think of left is run a Auto or Don't Let of the Gas when you boost (IE NLTS) :idontknow:

i have the newer hks ssqv and first i went uncirculated and it made my car run lean so i recirculated it and it sounds much better. My bov sounds the same as every1 of your vids nothing to worry about

I have the same one, with the screw in the back to adjust it. Mine sounds exactly the same. It's normal. You have nothing to wrry about. When you start actually having surge, look at the vid with the skyline name i think real compressor surge, then you worry.
