Hi guys I'm trying to sell my turbo that I bought over 5yrs ago but never used (it wasn't new when I bought it) Thing is a can't remember exactly what it is, definitely a Garrett I think it was a T-28 killer or a FP Big 28 but I'm not sure and I have couple people inquiring.

It has a placard that says Garrett Ga 0120J 705329-2, on the compressor housing it has the following markings "A/R .48 M24 2 <WL>" on the Turbine housing it has ".49 N59 286 N2" and "TR0759"

Here are some pics. Any help would greatly appreciated.

the car had almost 200k miles and was starting to show it's age so I sold it before I had a chance to put it on. Is there anyway to tell what T28 it is and when you say T-28 is the FP Big 28 one of the possibilities?

Fp almost always stamped fp on the turbo somewhere to show it was there's. Other than that I do know there were different t-28's depending on the number of compressor blades I do believe. Hopefully Justin will chime in and shed some mire light on the subject.

I don't know much about the available turbine wheels for T28's, but that's a 10-blade and I think that is the turbine that FP uses. There is more than one company that builds T28's, though.

Direct bolt-on for a 2G, roughly the same airflow as a Small 16G. Used they sell in the $350 range.

10 blade? I counted 9... Looks like it's got a pretty good clip to it as well.

You're right, it's 9. Doesn't really appear to be clipped too aggressively- at least not at the base of the wheel where the fins are the widest. You can see a lot of the oil shield through the wheel, however....not a lot of restriction there.
