Hey Everybody,

My 92 gsx i just got has a chip in it. The guy i got it from got it from another guy that can't remember anything about it.I'm trying to figure out is it a tmo or keydriver chip. I have a pic of it below. I am assuming the 8500 is the rev limit, the 6000 i guess is the nlts, but the 500 im lost. If any of you all know who manufactured this chip just let me know. Thanks

chances are its a keydiver chip, since the TMO chips are not made any more, Todd Day chips have not been legally produced for years now, if you see any on ebay, its a pirated copy

I'm pretty sure that is not a keydiver chip because it doesn't look like mine.

Mine says on the top line 78/55/AWD 11:1 KNO, and on the bottom line 850cc MAFT 92OCT.

It might be one of Jeff's chips or just something somebody else made and used a P-Touch label just Jeff and I do.

I don't think the 500 is the idle speed so perhaps it was intended to be a 5000 and the label was too long. If that's the case it's likely a very early DSMChip or a simple one somebody made up with a 8250 rpm redline, 6000 rpm clutch cut and 5000 rpm launch limit.

I believe at one point that ECU had DSMLink or was socketed at ECMTuning, that's where the label on the CPU comes from. I don't think Jeff was also doing them on ECU's he socketed.

I don't think it is mine, or at least not a legal copy. My labels usually also tell you what the gauge function is, what MAS, AFR targets, and even the octane they are designed for. It *could* be a very old one that Nate did for me, but it doesn't look like his labeling either. The only way to find out is to read it.

Cool deal thanks alot guys,i am about to run maft from 2g mas so i will prob pull it out and just get everything setup the way i want it. Thanks
