Guys i am kind of new, i don't have a premission to post this thread on tech forum so i need help. i bought the car just about a month ago with no motor and tranny, i want to start looking for the motor and tranny now but i don't know where to start. i need a 6bolt motor form 1gen and 2g tarnny. any help will be appericiated. thanks

i have a bad experience with ebay motors, never again.... but what is a creigslist, and i tried looking at local salvage yards with no luck and also got on local dsm sites with also no luck. my option are running out.

You may want to try and check with local performance shops. I asked one here in MN (weren't listed on their website) and they had a couple of 6 bolt blocks for $400.

It's like the classifieds but more popular and people post a lot of ads on there. Everything is categorized so whatever you're looking for wether it be car parts/vehicles/electronics...Pretty much like a free ebay.

I've never had any personal experience with them but their prices seem fairly resonable. There are a few little extras you will have to do in order to put a 6-bolt motor into a 2g.

Try the dsm graveyard as well for a transmission. If you do go with the 2g transmission, make sure you purchase a 6 bolt flywheel
