Ok... I install my Older Profec B that I just bought a week ago. Why is that after I'd install it the engine check light comes on when i drive for about 30 miles.... Am i installing it wrong. I didn't have the manual or anything... just the Boost controller... Also while driving it... If i'm going up hill for a while... it feels like like my car is jerking back and forth. Is there something wrong here???... HELP please yall. thanks.

what do you mean by done no more CEL? i'm new at this... and pretty much don't know much at all. Any instruction will help. Even how to install it properly. Thnaks.

If you removed the stock boost controller, the ECU will throw a code (CEL - Check Engine Light).

Just plug it back in and it will go away.

If you have not unplugged it, then its something else (obviously :p )

That part that isn't supposed to be unplugged is called the Boost Control Solenoid or BCS.

If you brain fart like I did, you unbolt the BCS from its location and bolt the new EBC's solenoid to there, but of course unplug the BCS connector so not to "damage" anything and forget to plug it back in :p
