Greddy profec-b mounting

Does anyone have any ideas of mounting location for a Profec-b? Right now I have it mounted under my radio, but I'm planning on mounting my AFC there in the near future and I have gauges mounted in the center vent already, as well as my HKS TT mounted in my flip up coin tray. I've run out of real estate, unluss somebody know of another easy accessible location.

I have my EBC mounted inside the center console. If people see lots of gogo gadgets inside there will be a better chance someone will break in and steal stuff.

You could mount it on top of the steering column.

There's a guy on my local forum that mounted his Turbo Timer in the little vent that blows air in foot area. Not quite easy to read, but hidden none the less.

either the center concel if you need to get to it all the time or in the glove box if you want to set it and forget it like i did mind when it was hooked up

In a 2g, i was thinking about making, or have someone make a custom piece for one to fit where the cupholder/ashtray piece is if i get one. but i don't know if the 1g has a piece like that, that you could use?

I actually do have mine in the ashtray. It worked out quite nicely after a little bit of cutting. You can cover it up for a stock appearance but its right there when you need it. Plus if you decide to change location or setups you can easily pickup an ashtray for like $5 at the junkyard. Give me a few and I'll see if I can't find some pics of it.

wow great place. and i will agree with the more stuff you have on your dash it will get broken into. In my wrx i drove it for year with no issues with nothing on it then i put tripple pillar with gauges, my keenwood touch screen, Turbo timer, and my COBB Accessport on the dash. Lone behold within 1 month my car was broken into.

That was another big reason for it. My car has been broken into twice now.

always a good idea to close the deck. O and ya when they jacked my stuff they wernt nice about it. They broke the dash and pillar pieces and just ripped wires out. I hate people sometimes

Yeah the first time they took about $1000 of stuff and did about $500 in damages. The second time they only jacked my GPS but apparently these guys weren't too bright since they left the charger for it. Oh well. What can you do? I like a clean stock appearing car, not to mention it keeps you under the radar of cops and thieves alike.

Ya my gauges were over $300 my kenwood screen was $750, accesport was $700, turbo timer $100... you get the point... Funny thing they were to lazy to pop trunk and take hideaway unit though so they stole the screen but not the brain to it??
