My stock"ish" 2g is throwing both a p0420 and p1105. I am assuming the p0420 is because I am catless but I am not sure the other. I know it is a fuel solenoid code but my research is showing that it wouldn't have effect on the car. But my car is experiencing idle surges and fuel cut when it boost. Are they all related?

Yes still has fuel pressure solenoid. I hit 10lbs of boost and the car starts bucking and when I watch the boost gauge it hits 10 then plummets to 3-5 then builds back up and repeat. If I'm not wot and let it build slower I don't get the bucking.

oh and also when it starts bucking my afr reads rich.
All the more reason to pull your plugs and see what they look like. Takes 5 minutes. When I was running rich my plugs fouled fairly quickly. Not saying thats the problem, but it is or will be a problem sooner than later if youre running rich and will again mimic the same issue that youre having now ,possibly without throwing you a code.... Also what kind of plugs does it say on the paperwork? Our cars like the cheapy copper NGKs.

Since you are close to stock you should be good with 6's.

click for NGK BPR6ES

Gap should be 0.28... (Someone correct me if im wrong)

I use one range colder with the 7's because Im modified, but I just buy these in bulk since they are cheap... and never gonna get any cheaper.

I'm starting to modify now, I'm just trying to get the codes cleared up and all the issues fixed before. I bought it to modify but then got completely wrapped up in a Subaru build so now im back the Eclipse. Also the paperwork has them currently gapped at .032

It has the factory turbo.

That hose coming off the valve cover... where is it going and whats at the other end?
The port on your intake to the bottom right of your bov return hose, is it sealed off? Because thats where that hose is connected on my car. Just wondering what yours is connected to.

Yessir!!!!

That will cause a massive vacuum leak!

Alright made sure the line was attached to the intake and secured. Took it out for a drive and still doing the same bucking.

Did you do anything before it started acting up?
Also 25k and 2019 means it needed plugs awhile ago to me.

sounds like fuel cut check all intercooler pipping and fuel lines in the engine bay verify there’s no rips in the wire leading to that solenoid also wouldn’t hurt to replace it see what that does but once u replace it make sure to unplug thermal for 15mins then give it a try

I bought new vacuum lines and egr block off plate to eliminate all emission and unnecessary vacuum lines. Would this solved the problem once I reroute the lines and eliminate the solenoid all together?

If the egr valve is bad it might, it will also cause a check engine light. It will take a few weeks of driving but eventually the map sensor will run enough checks to realize the egr valve isnt working.

You will need to boost leak test the car to pinpoint the vacuum leak or boost leak. You could also have a smoke test done

I get what your saying. But my thinking is if I eliminate the Fuel Solenoid all together then I do not have to worry about replacing it and can check that off my list.

Yeah, if the solenoid failed open it would just recirculate the vacuum back into the fuel pressure regulator. Mine failed a few years ago and it never caused any problems, just the check engine light
