Though I did the research and Search. And read about the codes, I haven't been able to resolve. MY Goal is to pass Inspection!

I am trying to pass the so called NC Inspection process. My car has these 2 codes. I've cleared them once using my odb reader. I appreciate the help.

P1105 Fuel pressure solenoid malfunction

P1400 Manifold Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

I've ordered a AFPR. I know the fuel pressure solenoid works with hot starts. It may have started when I was going through the fuel system. A replaced the stock fuel pump with a walbro. I thought the solenoid was some type of stock AFPR. I rerouted some of the vacum lines. Since the code I have returned it to where it was before.

The manifold pressure sensor is tied to the fuel solenoid. My opinion.

I've cleared the codes. will drive today to see if the codes return.

I am venting to the air and using a SAFC2.

Any help appreciated.

The fuel pressure solenoid really only works on cold start conditions. It allows for higher fuel pressure when the engine is cold. The manifold differential pressure sensor on a 2g only monitors proper function of the egr valve (pressure change when the valve is open). There is no physical connection of the two sensors.

I would recommend checking for proper voltage to each sensor before settling on a bad sensor, but its likely the sensors are bad. Its sometime easy and cheap to just pick up a new sensor and reset the ecu. Hope this helps a little.

I will call today for cost.

If they are stupid expensive, I;ll clean and test prior to purchase.
