Help Deciding with FWD tires

I'm not sure as to what size tires I need to get. I know my stocks are 205-55s, my question is, I'm looking for something to really stick to the road. Should I look into something wider, such as 225-60s or is this no good. I'm buying directional tires, so whatever I can find.. If you have any info on stick tires, that works to. I'll only use them in the summer....

if your on stock wheels a 215 series would be about the widest I'd suggest or you will start to get a rounded tire surface at normal air pressures.

I would say stick to the 205/55, but you can fit a 225/50 on the stock wheels. See my sig pic for that.

well i'm trying to decide what i should go with it. most of the topics here are for bigger wheels, but since i don't have bigger rims and i own a dsm, i'm not rolling around in cash. i'm thinking maybe just stickin with the 205, or maybe go slightly bigger with the 215. now it's time to finish searching on the right tire.

Summer only on stock (16x6) wheels ... Falken Azenis 205/55/16. These will last a few years, during which I strongly suggest saving up for wider wheels.
