ok ima bout to do a 6 bolt swap in my 95gsx got the parts that i need and all however ive been goaling for about 500 hp. i have a gt30r turbo/272hks cams all other supporting mods(FUEL/ cooling/etc...) now 6bolt block looks pretty good but ive been thinking of rebuliding the bottom. if i change my pistions ive actually been looking at going with 9.0.1 compression. how will this react wit the a high boosting turbo will it effect it??

Think of it this way. A high compression ratio gives to more off boost TQ...but, the higher the compression the less boost you can run on pump gas. I would go more with a 8.5:1, or a little lower. What kind of boost levels are you looking to be pushing? Im going with a Ross Racing piston set with an 8.5:1 CR, I will be boosting 30psi on a GT35R, with meth injection on 93 (the meth ups the pump octane count).
EDIT: I even decided to be nice, and save you the time of typing in "compression ratio" >>> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/search.php?searchid=2155261 and this is a good one, the title is miss leading but it gets into CRs>>> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=224002
