Indeed, I was talking more for the masses. Not quite gigantic volume production level but enough to bring down the price to something more attainable by more than a dozen or so buyers. It could happen. Maybe.
I hope it happens too, but realistically I don’t foresee that happening unless Mitsubishi starts a heritage program much like Nissan started for their ‘90’s Skylines.
 
For which cams?
There's a tiny bit of extra power you could probably squeeze out even with stock cams and being able to adjust them to suit the rest of your setup, but it's highly dependent ON the rest of your setup.
Generally, if you're staying with stock cams, you might as well stick with the stock gears as well.
