help car wont start started 10 minutes ago...

okay so i just picked up this talon a few days ago, my honda was stolen and stripped so i figured it was time to move up in the world so i bought my friends 1st gen talon tsi, car needs serious work. the guy he got it from had the fuel pump harness hacked to shit huge long wires connected to em and all idk what he was doin probably trying to install a switch and never finished, so i cut the wires and rewired all the factory wire back together. the fuel gauge wasnt working either so i decided to try and pull the pump and reset the sending unit or see if the arm was bent. things came up and i didnt have time so i put the pump back in and tried starting it up... nothing the battery is shot in it so i have to jump it almost every time so i charged it for a while thinkin that was the problem, no go, my volt meter read .05v when cranking and then it broke so i cant really check until i pick up a new one. i really dont think i touched any wires together when rewiring, i would have heard a spark. and if the fuel relay was shot wouldnt there be no voltage present at all? im really short on cash since transferring the title and getting tabs, along with other parts ive had to replace basically drained my account... thanks in advance for anyone that can help out, also i havent checked for spark but i would think its fuel related since the car started up 10 minutes before i rewired it... :ohdamn:
 
i checked everything 5 times, rewired it twice and soldered it the second just to be sure theres a white black which i assume is power, black which is ground (those are the thicker gauge wire) then theres a yellow with red (not red stripe but squares) and yellow with green stripe, all are connected properly
 
yea i did the ac fan is out but there is no fuse for fuel ignition fuse is good and i replaced all the bad ones

checked power to the pump, .8v... tried turning the pump on with 12v power source and it worked. so now im just wiring in a 12v constant to the pump on a switch will that work? pump constantly getting 12v and whenever i turn my car off i just turn off the pump?

okay thats not working either i know the pump is pumping fuel to the rail but the car still wont start, it has spark also anyone have any ideas?
