Help! car wont crank over!

Okay so my car was completely taken apart and i attempted a wire tuck and battery relocation and now car wont turn over. i used 4 gauge wire to the starter and a little bit smaller wire for the fuse box. The wire harness to the engine is 100% hooked up. Also the dash is out of the car. Does the car need the dash to be in the car so that the starter can crank the engine over?? I am not trying to turn the car on, just want the engine to turn over. Any ideas??

when you turn the key do the chimes on or anything else that normaly would? if not id check the ignition and if so id check the crimp on the starter to see if it lossened up or got pulled of during the rewiring

Well, I I don't know what you mean by chimes? I installed the dash today and everything else works like the sunroof windows lights ect. When I try to turn the key, you can hear the fuel pump working and it doesn't turn off until I turn the key to completely on, is that normal. And the starter is wired exactly the same as before! But doesn't crank over. I verified that I am getting current to the starter with one of those light things. I pulled some codes from the car just now and it was saying something about circuit malfuntion?? I tried to pull them again and now no codes come up?? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
