[Help] 14B/16G Ebay Install Kit J-Pipes

Hello friends ! I've done some research here, but I wanted some fresh opinions about the EBAY 14B/16G install Kits, preferably because of the J-Pipes. Also, all the links in previous topics where dead due to the unlisted products.

I'm using a stock FMIC on a 2G.

I know some say that the Oil lines and hoses/couplers that comes with those kits are JUNK, so I'm buying them mostly for J-Pipe and Lower Pipe.

Also, Is there any difference between the J-Pipe that is used with a SMIC or a FMIC ?

Oh, sorry, one more thing. I will buy new silicone couplers. Will teh 2'' do the work ?

The most "famous" J-Pipes are the ones from CX Racing. Do they align correctly ?

will the stock j-pipe and lower ic piping that would bolt to the t25 bolt to the 16g?
reason being i was wanting to get a j pipe fr a fmic seeing as how ill be putting one on at a later stage.

So you want a j pipe for your t25, and later a 16g correct, extreme psi has some nice stuff depending on what you want to do. I used to run a j pipe but it was for the fmic, and i ran a stock j pipe for the smic.

no installing a e3 16g now but not the fmic yet.. but the kit comes with a j pipe so i was wondering if the stock one will bolt to the 16g so that i can get the j pipe for a fm with the kit for later use.

Im not exactly sure i ran my old evo with a stock j pipe for the smic, thats it, aftermarket j pipe was used on my fmic, but now my turbo has no j pipe.

a stock j pipe for a smic, im pretty sure they are way smaller in diameter. if you ever use a stock j pipe on after market intercooler piping, may cause a problem unless it is the same diameter. If its not the same, it may cause a "bottle neck" effect. i would go with an aftermarket jpipe with a FMIC. and just my opinion i would go with a jpipe that has a boost line nipple preinstalled so you dont need to install one yourself. and if its not needed. just cap it off.

ok, may just be my opinion i go with same size piping all the way around. matching different size piping with (2.5 - 3) or vise versa couplers is just not my thing unless i absolutely have too. in which i dont have too soo. just my .02 cent

A lot of make mistakes, even when reading throug some of the threads, some are long, and some are hard to figure out. You could find a j pipe for now and install later i ran my smic for with my evo for a while, my ebay j pipe didnt work out too well. but ets has a nice i kit, i run a pr core and custom piping i made, two couplers for the maf, two for the core, and, and a 45 degree reducer. All short route.

Are you asking if you can use the stock j-pipe off the t-25 on a 16g? If so , no you cant because the t-25 does not have a j-pipe.

Putting a 14b on my 2G in place of the T25.
