Heavy shipments...

I wanna sell tires and wheels and ship them across country, from NJ to California, but UPS and FEDEX and stuff like that are all well over 200 dollars to ship something so heavy. Anyone know of or use something that will/can do it for cheaper

You might do best with Greyhound. $200's about normal for a set of wheels and tires.

What size wheels and tires are we talking about?

I shipped my stockers for $60 per pair. If you can get approx. size and weight, you can just use UPS' Calculator.

Almost every wheel and tire package dealer is offering free freight with orders; there's got to be a cost efficient way of doing it.

Ohh and like Defiant said, Greyhound seems to be cheaper than the rest with large packages. I use Greyhound when shipping things like bumpers and fenders....

Yep I've seen hoods only cost 50 to ship with Greyhound.

They won't. You'll have to drive to the bus station, and the pickup will have to be done there. Oh, what a burden.

Why didn't you look into this before the sale?
