headlights and blinkers don't work!!

okay, my car had a dead battery (92 Talon TSi) when I bought it, I replaced it and started running through the systems... parking lights, hazards (in the rear) brake lights and reverse lights work, the blinkers won't even react when clicked on (if all the bulbs were blown it would blink fast, right?) and the headlights don't turn on at all. all the fuses are good. I have no idea where to start chasing down these problems and I HATE chasing wiring issues . Also, the dash lights work, but sometimes they will just turn off, and you have to beat on the dash to get them to turn back on... Any help would be appreciated guys, thanks.

no help? I searched this site like a madman and couldn't find anything...

headlight= relay in the fusebox
dash light= relay in the fuse box too
flasher might be the tridon.

but first look at all the wire under the fuse box... i guess many wire are shot by the
rust and connections are not made anymore

I didn't think to check the wires behind the fuse box... The relays are all okay, but I should probably just replace them anyway. Thanks man, appreciate it
