Summit Racing and JC Whitney have them for order. Of course if you did your own searching you might find some better pricing. Just search on their sites for header wrap.

The only problem that people have is from the heating ans cool cycle. It makes the wrap attract moister that wioll be held againt the metal. If it is made out of mild steel it will rust. Other than that you should be ok just do a nice job. They also have a spray that supposedly makes it water proof.

Heat wrap will smoke for a while. There is still moisture in it and it's probably a combination of steam and smoke. Some components will burn off but in a couple of days the "smoke" will be gone and you'll only be left with an odor that will eventually fade as well.

I see. Yeah, boiling and melting is bad um k? I would have to agree with you then if the actual structure of the material is changing so drastically. What are the chances that the reflective/shiny side was supposed to be closest to the turbo? My starter is wrapped in similar material and the shiny part is closest to the heat source (header). Was it only able to go on one way?

... yeah, ok don't forget to get pictures if it goes up in flames.

Wouldn't that imply that a lot of energy was escaping in the form of heat radiation, any words on this?
At first take on this I don't see how the turbo can be hotter than the exhuast gas coming from the cylinders. Somebody shed some light on this subject.
Also, another thing that crossed my mind, now that I am wrapped and my turbo cannot dissipate heat as well, I will have to let it cool down longer.
