hey I just had a quick question. I just bought a 98 eclipse GS and it had an exhaust leak from the flex pipe. Looked around at the parts stores and its almost 200 bucks for OEM replacement, so I decided just get aftermarket headers with the flexpipe attached. I found a header and flexpipe on ebay for like 40 bucks plus shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...24&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1#ShippingPayment
now this is more of a quick fix to get it inspected but will this be any good for the car or is this JUNK??? I know you get what you pay for but let me know what you guys think!

the way the 2 pieces of pipe connect together is junk IMO. Why not get an OBX or even a pacesetter header for like $140 and not have to worry about it again. I went with an OBX instead of the pacesetter because the OBX has a flew joint in it and the pacesetter does not.

yea i kinda figured you guys would say that LOL... im assuming the metal is junk and thin too .... well do you ahve anymore links I could visit for headers. Im looking around 150 and under if at all possible!

whats $30.00 more they are worth it i have some on my n/a and they are awesome they burnt off the paint when i first started it but it will do that for about 5 min.

I am on an extremely TIGHT budget and im just doing this to get rid of my exhaust leak! I can get oem parts but i figured it would be better to buy aftermarket so theres no way i will go over 150 for aftermarket!
