Still $365 for a header to me is too much, i got the ssautochrome one for $140 shipped....stainless steel, looks good performs well/as well as other more expensive header might.

Just one tip when installing any stainless steel header: Where clean gloves! Like ones doctors use, may sound dumb but the oils in our fingers when touching stainless steel headers will stay there then when you use the header (will change colors, thats just the way it is) you will get some oil marks burned into your header.........If you dont wanna use gloves then i heard you can rub it down with ascetone (sp?) after you install...Have fun!

DC Sports 4-2-1 or Greddy 4-1?

Can someone give me an educated fact about the main difference in performance between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 header. Dyno results have shown that 4-2-1 is only effective at about 5000-7000 RPM, but people say 4-1 is for higher end power and 4-2-1 is low end, which cannot be true based on Dyno results. Then again, I don't have any facts on a 4-1 header.

the diff is not huge, neither is better i guess you can say each is unique. A 4-2-1 will not make you lose low end torque whereas a 4-1 will lose slight low end-torque. A 4-1 header will notice an increase through the top end where a 4-2-1 will be off the line....Really its just personal prefernce, i went with 4-1 header and haven't looked back.
