WTF ayo i changed the head on my eclipse and got the timin redone i know my ecu is leakin a capiactor and dumpin to much fuel than needed, im gettin spark, fuel, and my compresion test came to 50 50 0 50 is that diffently due to timin being off or the head and another thing everytime i crank the engine i get this funny smell white smoke comin out the turbo outlet going thru intercooler and into the intake and it also goes into the air filter wat can that white smoke be and i my head gasket is new so i know its not that :dsm:

Are you sure that the head you got was a good head? That zero compression makes me think that some of the valves may be slightly bent. Did u turn the engine over about 6 times by hand to make sure that nothing was hitting before you tried to start it? As far as the white smoke i have no idea.

If you can, rent a bore scope and look at the cylinder that has 0 compression to see if the valves are bent . I agree with pure92tsi that you may either have bent the valves due to improper installation, or the head was defective. The white smoke that smells probably like anti freeze probably IS antifreeze.

Looks very likely you will be pulling the head.

Good Luck

so you dont think by chance it could be the timing thats off therefore the piston is not comin up right makin 0 compression in one cylinder i know its either the head or timin but i took the head off of a non turbo and the valve seals and head looked 10 times better than the turbo head

If timing is off by let's say 3 tooth, you will not get zero compression or even 50. If it's off by more than 3, most likely you have bent valves now even if you didn't before.

that made no since if its off by 3 teeth it will not have low compression and wat if it is more than 3 teeth than would i have low compresion or wat

hes saying that if its off buy more than 3 or so teeth you are going to buy looking into buying new valves aka valves hitting pistons

yes, what ^^^ said, it happened to me, 0 compression means bent valves, i had 0 in cylinders 3 and 4, and turned out i had 6 bent valves, your gonna have to take the head off, and take it to a machine shop and have them check how much damage you did, trust us, im pretty sure we know what we are talkin about, and i know its a pain in the arse to have to take it all apart after puttin it back together, but if you want a car back, do what needs to be done
