I have the torques style head bolts on my 6bolt. I aquired the block in peices and the old head bolts were in a bag with no washers. I want to replace them but everywhere I look they only sell bolts without the washers. The 7 bolt smaller bolts have washers and I keep reading in the theads about using washers on 6 bolts. So does the 6 bolt torx style bolts need washers? Torx style being allen key style.

If you don't know how many times those bolts have been used you need to get new ones. They stretch the service interval is two times with them, but I recommend you use them only once ( I have had problems with them stretching). I recommend going to ARP head studs.

Ya, I want to replace them, I said that. But when I look for replacements I dont find any washers with oem replacements and it dosent look like it had any. Unless the original guy thru them out. What I want to know is if I buy replacemt oem's(torx style) will I need washers too? And no more ARP suggestions unless you have a good set your selling for the cost of oem's hehe.
