Having Trouble Starting engine for the first time

Alright so my freshly built engine and tranny and in but I am having some problems starting it.

The things that I have already checked are...

Plugs, they are gapped correctly
Wires, they are hooked up to the coil pack right
Coil pack is giving spark
Have fuel pressure

So I am at a loss at what to check next.

Anyone?

Check compression, ecu for leaking caps, and harness for any plugs you might have missed.

Oh ya, forgot to say I have good compression, caps have been replaced.

Now the car is firing and starting for a lil while but way high like 2k for about 1 second then killing itself., could I be running it to rich from idle with my 550's on the 14b?

yea youll run rich but it should stay running. make sure you plugged in your mas i always try and forget it for some reason. not a problem now though .

like the last guy said what engine/fuel management changes have you made? do you have a safc or chip or anything for with the 550's?

Please? This helps others who search later on. Even if it is something goofy, they may have done the same thing.
