Lets start by saying what i have. Mhi Evo 3 turbo 20psi 750 cc injectors fmic full exhaust dsm link. On the dyno first pull 190hp second 220 third pull 235.. yeah for slipping stock clutches. Just thought id share my fail with you guys.:banghead:

I take it you have your injectors fully dialed in as well for the E316g?

Is that a Mustang dyno or a dynojet?
There's a big difference between the 2 types of dyno. Mustang dynos read low and accurate, dynojets will overinflate the hp numbers.

Any type of load bearing read real low. I could have made over 400whp on a dyno jet but I made what I did because I was on a load bearing. We had over 20 dsm's that day and some 35r and larger guys never broke 600whp.

dyno jet. everything was zeroed out as far as timing like i said the clutch started slipping around 5000. i was just pissed i spent $80 for nothing it wasn't even worth the attempt to tune it. brand new stock clutch... perhaps my aluminum flywheel had something to do with it not being able to hold

if you have an aftermarket aluminum flywheel it has nothing to do with the clutch slipping!!!!! replace the clutch with a good aftermarket like an act 2600 or a spec stage 2 or 3!!!

Ive seen this too many times when someone installs a 16g. The stock clutch is barely enough for the stock turbo.

Was the clutch broken it? If it was 'brand new' it might not be holding at full strength yet. It takes around 500 miles before the clutch can grab with full strength.

TRUE! And skip the 2100 because that's barely adequate for a small 16g or 14b when you geta good tune and drive hard. I have a FWD and have to run the ACT 2900 because on slicks if i got the 2600 hot on the launch it wouldn't hold in 3rd gear... These are all experiences with full face street disks though so a lighter clutch with a 6puck sprung disk would be a lot better at holding
