Having a hard time starting

this is my first thread and i don't know much so bear with me...I own a 93 tsi AWD and I've been having a hard time starting the car, after trying for about 2 minutes it will eventually start. This problem just happened this morning getting to work and trying to start my car after work. I fill up the car with premium. Recently had an oil change. I have a B&M FPR, another question, what should the fuel pressure be at stock?. =S anything would help. thanks

Do you have a FPR gauge to monitor/ see what its at?

Click on Search, select Search Forum and type fuel pressure. BTW, mine is set at 39 PSI.

My FPR reads about 30-31 PSI, is that bad since mine is lower than yours?
Does that have something to deal with my starting problem?

One more thing to check if adjusting your fuel pressure doesn't work would be to check your coolant temp sensor and maybe your spark plug order. There is another good thread that is titled : How to diagnose a no-start. (or something close to that) that also has good information that would probably solve your problems.

hi,your doing buddy,its your crank sensor it went bad ,80 dollars for new one from dealer!!!!!!!!!
