I guess maybe a 2g is a little bit different but I changed mine right when I got the car and changed it just recently and it was simple. Not to hard to get the lines off at all.

Possibly relocating the battery should help quite a bit. :thumb:

2g is a pain in the ass trust me. It could be done and shouldn't be a problem. I know how much of a pain it is to change the filter, but it doesn't need to be done that often so is it really necessary? Not flaming, just trying to figure out your intentions.
