Slight problem... I'm having a lot of trouble shifting gears. I really have to force it/ slam it into gear particularly 1st-3rd and occasionally 4th and 5th are hard too. Once in gear the car runs fine. I can switch out of gear great it’s just putting it into the next gear that’s hard. It feels like I'm shifting but the clutch isn't engaged or something. I’m thinking its time for a new clutch but I just thought there might be something else so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

PS- I own a 99 Eclipse GS (n/t). It has got about 55k on it and it has never been raced other than a few civic kills!

(Any info on a good clutch would be great too. Something that can handle about 200hp.)

When you sit still but in 1st gear with the clutch in and revving it high, does the car start to roll?

Try adjusting your clutch pedal, but your clutch disc may be wearing thin.
