ok guys here is the problem.

I have a 90 motor in myt car. So naturally i have the 90 oil cooler. well im getting rid of it, and i need to find brass fittings for where the banjo bolt went into the filter housing.

The thread count is m16x1.5...im looking for one with 5/8 barb fittings on the end...please HELP!!!!

Any websites that have them would be great...i have been googling for hours...And i figured someone here has looked for the same fitting!

except for what im looking for,......

they have SAE but no METRIC!!! m16X1.5

I typed www.earlsfittings.com amd came up with a list of many fitting manufacturers Just something you may have already tried. I know earls makes a lot of odd fittings. Mark

OK, I'll even get you part numbers......

Earls - 9919FFJ [this is a 16mmx1.5 to a -10 male]
Earls - 700111 [this is the -10 female to a male 5/8 barb]

If you comine this you above parts, you will get what you are looking for. I do not believe it is possible to do with one fitting. The above part numbers are assuming that you want a straight fitting assembly. If you need the number for a 45* or a 90*, just let me know.

Wow thanks...

A 90 part number would be spectacular!

Wow, I was just about to start the same thread. Anyways, thanks 95gst for the part numbers because I came across this web site:

http://www.anplumbing.com/shop/

Just enter the part number and you're good to go.

Also, does anyone know how the stock 90-91 cooler was mounted? I cant remember if the inlet/outlet were on the top or the bottom. I need to remount my cooler with better lines...

personally i would just run AN line they make adapters for it i have them on my car

That is ideal but I am trying to make this as cheap as possible. Im looking for a 16x1.5 to -X an line (perferable -8).

95gst, using the part number 9919FFJ, I only come up with straight fittings:

Yes, as I stated in my first post, to do what the thread starter is trying to do, it will take two fittings.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a fitting that is a 16mmx1.5 male to a 5/8 barb. Therefore, to get the desired outcome, two fitting have to be used.

If you connect a #9919FFJ and #709111, it will be a 16mmx1.5 on one side and then a 90* bend, and then a 5/8" barb on the other end.

Sorry about that.

Anyways, I finally found what I want. A company called BAT inc sells fittings made in Europe. The have a lot of metric combinations:

http://www.batinc.net/main.htm
http://64.202.180.37/files/metric.pdf

Im going to use two 16mm x -8AN banjo hose end fittings and two 16mm x -8AN 45* fittings. The banjo fittings will effectively be a 90* fitting...
