How much power can i win by changing to hard piping from my smic? Is it worth the money? You can see my other mods in my profile. Running with stock T25.

You really arent going to gain power from adding hard piping. Hard piping is just a more rigid intake system that will be less prone to leaking, cracking, or abrasion. It also will prevent the pipe flexing under boost. It is a good starting point if you plan to be adding a larger turbo in the future.

Okey, I have heard that the stock one was very restrictive, my stock one is in perfeckt shape and with no leaks. Thinking about swapping to a 16g turbo, but the stock piping will still be good enough?

Okey. Than i order Fmic kit with piping, 16g and 255 wally pump. Do i also need new injectors?

depends how much boost and hard hard you are pushing the 16g.

The sidemount will definitely heat soak past 17 psi.

Also hardpiping does not need to be replaced as much as the stock rubber hosing. Stock hard piping is more of a preventive maintenance, it wont swell or crack or become damaged by the clamps and it adds a nice bling effect to your engine bay.

Yes, you will need at least 650's for injectors.

What are you going by that he will need 650's at least for a 16g? I was running 550's on my 16g at 80% duty cycle at 20psi. Every car is different granted but his car is mostly stock and in no way does he REALLY need 650's. But having bigger injectors, gives peace of mind in case upgrading is part of your plans,

You could also get a Supra Side mount intercooler. It'll be enough for the 16g.

550's would be legit for a 16g. I recommended 650's because that would give the OP some room to grow with.

unless you are running on a budget go for the 650cc and tune around it. otherwise evo injectors can be picked up for pretty cheap. there is also a thread made recently about this topic. the guy was wondering whether to get the hard piping or get a fmic.

I'm sure that you haven't even bothered to search on this subject or research your car first.

Tech Guide: 2G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners
Follow the upgrade path and when it says you should get something, get to the search bar and find out all the information you can about the item/s you want to know about. Some things are best done in groups rather than by itself or not at all depending what you are going to do in the future.

Like the pipes for instance. If you plan on getting a short route FMIC in the future then these pipes will be useless. However if you get a FMIC now, you may have negative effects of pressure loss for a massive volume change depending on the size of the core.

Go slow and learn. What maintenance have you done to the car? When was a full timing belt change done?
