Half of rear defrost not working

I've been searching the forums and google for days now and i keep getting information relating to rear defrost that doesn't work at all. My rear defrost actually does work but only the bottom half (last 4 or 5 strips) lives up to its name.
- Any ideas?

Check the lines at the glass, fallow them very closely and you will see where the lines are interrupted, you have to weld them or change the glass.

Somewhere, the conductive coating painted on the glass has been scratched through. They sell a special kit at most auto part stores to fix it. The fix is almost like painting nail polish on a gap between 2 pieces of tape.
