Im looking to see how hard it would be to customize my stock manifold to fit a 38mm ewg. Ive been looking around but I can only find ones for t3/t4 turbo.
If you got any pics I would love to see it, or if there is a thread about this please post the link for it. Thanks

Your gonna have to get the manifold flanged.Sometimes they come up in the classifieds allready flanged. So start there, if you dont see any then, it's time to look for someone who can flange it for you.

I have the flanges that came with the waste gate my idea was to drill the hole in the #1 runner of the manifold and weld on a 2in pipe attach the flange and then the gate with a 02 dump im just not sure on how hard this would be or if I should get a machine shop to drill into the manifold and do the welding on it.

Better off getting a used hafe for under 80 bucks versus modding yours.

I have one but its cracked and needs re-welding...

I have a BEP 2g manifold with 2 bolt 38mm wastegate flange if youre interested. I can post pics of it when I get home...in case you just wanna get an idea of how it looks

I have the SBR manifold with the WG provision which looks similar to the HAFE. Streetraceboi can you post a pic of the BEP style manifold? I dont need it but i am curious to what it looks like, thanks.

All that google image search came up with.

HAFE or SBR desgin, HAFE is cast SS and beefy as hell.

I run a HAFE manifold, the provision is part of the manifold and is a thick flange. Here is a picture without a wastegate on my setup:

Here's a pic I snapped awhile back of it. I've heard horror stories about the SBR manifold and the different material its made of making it really weak.
