HAFE Cast SS EWG mani fitment help/ideas

Hafe manifold, Tial wastegate... Holset Wh1c. Very very little tap to the water pipe will give you the clearance you need. Sorry for the blurry cell picture. Wastegate hole was welded shut in the exhaust housing.

Thanks Big_D thats a nice setup!

Secondly I am excited to hear u are putting the mani on this weekend! Make sure to soak the bolts nice and good in PB blaster the night before so you don't snap anything! also, if a nut or a bolt is being a bi*** to come off, don't just keep turning it, loosen and tighten it until it gets threw all the tough spots.

Also what did u decide to do about the WG flapper? Just gonna have it welded? Or run a tube to it so you can still use it later if u wanted to.

Alex I bought 2 new OEM long bolts and the two that are in the FP mani are less than a year old. yeah I have already snapped/stripped one and its NOT fun....the GOOD news is I have the special $22 European thread Tap for the E316g on hand :D. i've redone mine once already.

I'm gonna use some Stainless steel Safety wire and lace the WG flapper lever to the cold side so it stays shut for now. I'm looking into having a grimmspeed tyle bracket fabbed up so that it's permanent. I forgot my damn wire at work but I can get more easily. if I cant get it finished I'm gonna just make a blockoff plate and work with it another time. once the mani is on its all good.

I notice that both of the pictures showcasing fitment are of 1G's while the OP has a 2G.

I believe the 2G has less room to work with in that area.

hey guys, im here to tell ya it fits and WORKS!! wow boost creep and knock are GONE.

I took a bunch of pics and will get em up after i get back from the gun shop for parts in an hour. i removed the A/C fan (I have no A/C anyways, deleted), and no issues fitting this setup. I fabbed up a dump tube from Autozone exhaust parts and had it welded up.

I am using the OEM IWG actuator to keep the door shut as a quick fix until i have the door secured with wire/custom bracket. seems to work fine.

Here's what I came up with for a dump tube:
