People, please give me your advice about SUBJ - is it good or bad? Yeah, I know it's not a biggest tragedy in my life... but how bad (maybe even good?) is not having ABS in eclipse 2G? How it feels like driving GSX without it?

I am tossing the abs in my car, added weight it an bad area and a cleaner looking engine bay. If you drive the car in snow then abs is a nice thing though.

If you drive on snow or ice, KEEP ABS. I guarantee in ultra low traction conditions that ABS will stop the car MUCH faster than you trying to tell when your tires are slipping versus not.

If you don't really find yourself driving in the snow, and understand how to "panic" brake without ABS, than not having it is fine.

Living in the Midwest, I drive through snow all the time. Not having ABS would suck.

My car does not have ABS anymore, but I don't drive my car in the snow, and rarely in the rain. I can tell no difference since I've never had to lock them up.

Well for ice it is nice but for snow I would dissagree you can actually use the snow to your advantage and skid and build a block under you tires but really it all depends on the conditions where you live. so you have to wheigh that out I would say if it hardly frezes ever your not going to need it and if it dose a lot it would be benifital but not nessasary if it just has a lot of snow accumulation well then that depends on how good of a driver you are. It all is pretty much the cofidence of the driver and if you know how to utalize the system you have. thats just me though.
