Does anyone know if they're available besides a whole assembly. I just discovered this.

They around $50, I just ordered one for a customer yesterday, I will confirm the part number on the one I have at the shop.

Ok, if your bracket and shaft are still in good condition and you ONLY need the bearing and seal kit, the part numbers are:

1990-1999 AWD: MB526956

If your bracket got damaged, the bracket, bearing and seal kit is:

1990-1996 AWD: MB526981
1997-1999 AWD: MR276643

Please note that the 1997-1999 have a different bracket bolt pattern offset for how it mounts to the engine block; you will need the proper one for your engine block being used.

Just out of curiosity to the OP, was the bearing making any noise before you pulled it from your car? I am still trying to figure out the culprit to a noise I was hearing before my ongoing tear down and mine was installed backasswards so I am wondering if that was the source of the noise.

I bought the car as a non running project so I honestly don't know. I just ordered some aftermarket bearings and seals and if they work I'll make a writeup on how to replace them. It cost $10 for both and if they're the right size I'll be very happy

Thanks Tim! I hope I won't need to use those part #'s because I'm on a tight budget.

i know its been a while, but i destroyed this bearing taking out a broken C/V joint.. :( is there any way sending me the url of the ebay store you got yours from?

does this look like the correct seal? and in the thread that you have showing pictures on how to do all this, what is that half moon shaped piece

RockAuto Parts Catalog

link didnt go up right.

i search 42x56x7 and theres only one that comes up

Sorry to Revive an old thread. I pulled my intermediate shaft and it has a different part number for the bearing. It is an NTN 6206LUA, not 2RS. LUA is the part included in the oem kit. I ordered a replacement and it was $17. I just want to correct an inaccuracy in this thread.

For reference, I ordered the 6206LLUA and the bearing is marked 6206LUA, identical to the oe part.
