gst rim size questions

hey i have 2g gst and i have rims that are 7 inches wide.. i race my car and i have wheel hop if i burn out at a lower rpm.. but if i keep it at a higher rpm the tires slip and no wheel hop... my question is if this is too much for my trans.. like if the wheels are too wide or by burning out at a higher rpm to get rid of my wheel hop.. i know racing a car isnt good for it but am i burning my car up by doing this with such wide wheels? just wanted some opinions.. thanks

as for the fact of it being bad for the car to do a burn out imho i would say its better because its less load at that rpm and less drivetrain shock.

as far as the wheels being to wide, if they arent slicks then i wouldn't worry about it.

Also my thoughts. When i put in some energry suspension inserts my wheel hop went away. And as far as burning out, its ok. Wheel hop is not. That causes alot of shock in the drivetrain.

well your forcing it but i run the same thing and it runs fine not to mention that mine has a 6 bolt motor witch is much stronger so that all depends on your foot and the way you abuse the car also you should check how your mounts and suspension bushings are

i have stock motor mounts on but ive heard you can put different ones on to get rid of the wheel hop or you can put windshield sealant in the stock ones
