gst 20g turbo set up

im about to get my hands on a gst. i would like to know what would be the proper set up for a 20g turbo?

You need to do all of your maintnence first. Timing belt,tensioners ect. Then start with upgrading fuel injectors,fuel pump, afpr. I would suggest using the search button this has been covered often.

Always start with maintanance. Lots of boost breaks old parts easy. Use the basic upgrades first get to know the car and then move onto a bigger turbo. Lots of supprting mods for a bigger turbo if you really wanna use it.

you dont need ARP HS with a 20G if you're under 17 psi ... but then thats no fun....

We've run up to 25psi on the stock 7-bolt in my buddy's '95 TSi AWD; the car never sees less than 20psi. This is with a Frank Level 5 20G and an engine that's never had the head off.

Isn't a frank level 5 a td06h turbine wheel with a 60trim garrett compressor wheel not 20g?

Not that it matters much because it's jsut an even larger compressor than the op wants and the largest turbine the op probably will get with his choice.

That's correct, Matt. Not even close to what a real 20G generates in terms of airflow, but it is in a 20G compressor cover and turbine housing so I guess it still counts.
