hey guys i have a 95 gsx and for some reason my charging system is not working i checked alternator and is good my battery is also good and my alternator choke fuse is good also i replace all battery cables still not the issue.

could i have a loose ground wire are could the wires from my alternator to fuse box be no good.

If i could please get some suggestions :sneaky:i would appericate it alot.

could be bad ground, would definately check that, would definately voltage drop the charge-back wire for the alternator. another check would be is your belt tight enough, they dont alway squeel when they are too loose.

alright guys i got my car running. But my power seats and windows and stereo dont work until i drive for about a miniute are so then they work but as soon as i turn the car bak off then back on he dont work until i get going again.

i will do a voltage test tomorrow after work.more advice will still appericated

You do have the long ground wire connected to the starter bolt and the short one connected to the body. And you do have both connected to the battery terminal? If there isn't any rust in the hole or on the bolt there is really no reason to grind paint off. It will ground thru the threads in the hole as it was meant to.

Im not sure i have not looked at the starter yet.I actully dont even know where thats at but ill research right now :hellyeah: thanks for the help everyone

Of course, He doesn't needs to sand them.
But, If he is having problems with ground.
The best way to kill that issue, is to sand all spots to make sure everything is good.

Other wise, he has to know very well what he is doing, concerning ground conditions.

If he miss one point, then he is messed up.
