My only stupid criticism is that the joints on the molding don't line up with each other. Still, a terrific job that looks great. Interesting how asymmetrical the other ribs under there are.
Keep us posted on how well the trim stays in place, it may tend to wander with heat cycles.
The rain that comes in shouldn't have any effect. You're getting much more than that in through the nose, through the radiators while driving in the rain.
An interesting experiment would be to take a mess of yarn tufts and tape them onto the hood, around and on the vents, and see what the airflow does at speed. You'll likely find that air is drawn _in_ those vents while moving.
