Kevin, I saw you posting about rear diffuser ideas so I PS'd this one quick. Once you get a photo from a few feet further away and the existing Eclipse bumper bolted back on there I could do a lot cleaner PS, this is just an idea though.

I bought the rotors from Modern Automotive Performance (maperformance) and I must say the not only did they have the best price but their service was top notch. It always is awesome to run into a vendors that delivers! Big thanks to Nate at maperformance for all his help!

Other things to come.

Picked up a Turbosmart hypergate 45 and a Sparco steering wheel up off evolutionm. Those should be here next week.

New rims should be here at the end of the month/early next.

I decided to go big and put 315 30 18's on all 4 corners for tires. Big thanks to John Fruend for razzing me. It gave me the nudge that was need. I think I found a line on a set of new Advan 048. Should know more soon.

All four hubs are on there way to Curt Brown to have ceramic wheel bearings and ARP studs installed.

The Brembo calipers are getting some thermal dispersant and ceramic coating love from Justin at Detective Coatings.

My front knuckles are going to be shipped to my friend Andrew Kinser at Frontline Fabrication on Monday. They will be measured and the development of a light weight billet uprights can start in earnest for the 2g. Andrew Kinser, Andrew Brilliant and I will be working on these together. These are going to be a part to watch for. We are hoping to cut the knuckle weight in half.

That's it for now.

Sweet! I was really starting to wonder when you said you were going with a 285.

Even sweeter! :hellyeah: Fill me in when you have time.

Little more work on the vanity project. Hope to lay some new glass in the next few weeks. I have been to busy building braces for people to get work done on my own car.

Big thanks to Zack for his help today. This would have been so hard to lay by myself. 1000 watt halogen = cure even if it is cold out.

Hubs back from CBR. Curt Brown is an awesome guy to work with. Fast, friendly, responsive and a total badass all around through my entire purchase. Highly recommend if you ever need a part or service he provides to use him. You will be happy!!!!

I've thought long and hard and outside of John Shep's car, this is probably the most ultimate DSM build EVER. I congratulate you for your effort and abilities and also for dumping so much money into one single car. Imagine a fender bender at the track? I'd kill myself after a build like yours.

What an awesome build. I'm sure I'm not the only one but I'm ready to see this thing complete. Going to be a great car. I like seeing builds that are different that the 4G63 build.
