I'm not sure what the problem is with my bov but i'm really considering getting a new one. I've had the Greddy RS for about 5-6 months now and for the past month i've just been having lots of trouble with it. I CANNOT find a spot where it completely holds my boost without surging. And trust me, i've tried waaaaaay too many times. So I'm pretty much lost for words seeing as I'm only boosting at like 16-17 psi... WHY WON'T IT HOLD! (i knew i shoulda gotten hks in the first place)

I guess you didnt try tapping the bottom hole ? oh well...I got that HKS still..;)

A friend on mine has the RS on his 95 Tsi, once it was adjusted it seems to hold 13psi pretty strong for the time being.

With my greddy type RS I am personally holding 18psi with no trouble at all, it went from box to car. I didn't have to swap springs or anything. Maybe you bought a defective one.

I have one and i hate it, i am selling it and getting a hks, it won't hold 20 psi, but of course i do have a 57 trim turbo. I made it just about as hard as it would go but then i got worried it wouldn't open enough under normal driving conditions so i think i will sell it to some kid with a honda or something with a small turbo with lower boost cause i can hear my boost going right out of it at full boost.
