hey guys, ok having some problems with my greddy ebc...i'm running an external wastegate so i installed the ebc the way it said to and it doesn't seem to be working at all, it has power and all of that, i can set the dials and such but doesn't control the boost whatsoever...i noticed to install it on an internal gate it says to remove all 3 plugs and install the hose barbs on the NO and COM ports, for the external gate it doesn't tell you to take out all three plugs, just to install the hose barbs on the NC and COM ports, so i left the third plug in, just wondering if anyone would have any advice on this, i hooked up the wastegate directly now, so its opening at 10 psi, the spring pressure, but i can't get this boost controller figured out, any help would be great thanks guys.

I have teh first profec, but i've worked with both and always had teh best luck running it with a single line to the side of the wastegate and setting the EBC uup for "internal" style gate. I've gotten it to work both ways, but it seems more reliable and not as touchy when set to internal.

ok so i should just set it up as it was pretty much before i went to an external gate then? when its set up for an external gate is the third plug supposed to be in or out? it doesn't say to remove it in the manual, but it does for the internal gate, so i wasn't sure.
thanks

Without the book i wouldn't know off the top of my head. Just pay more attention to the pictures than the words in greedy's instructions. Their english translations are very poor to say it nicely from the last ones i read.

haha ok, ya i just can't tell from the pictures if all plugs are supposed to be removed for the external gate, or if your supposed to leave the third one in that isn't being used, how are you running yours?

I have the first gen type (just Profec B) and i have dipswitches to set for internal and external, not plugs. Then i just have a line from the intake to the wastegate with the boost control solenoid box in the middle of it

ah ok, well i'll try removing my third plug and setting it up as an internal gate and see what i can figure out, thanks for your help
