I've just hooked up my Profec B-Spec 2 and now I'm not quite sure if I got the wiring right....

Does it have to have a constant 12V power source or just Ignition 12V?
At the moment it's connected to constant 12V source and the display is always on...that kind of bothers me somewhat. But if I connect to to Ignition 12V only, will my settings be saved?

The manual says:
Step (3): Reconnect the battery and find 12V Ingnition source with a tester.

My problem may just be in the language...English isn't my first one.

Yes it should be on the key = on side of the ignition or from thr fuse box that is only powered up when the key is on.
They use flash memory so the settings should stay put just fine.
