I know this is been discused before but i have the greddy i/c pipes instaled and i was thinking on buying the Greddy24R FMIC. I know that the slow boy i/c is a better option but its not a complete bolt on to my stock turbo ( on the future will be upgraded ) and i will have to remove my fog lights. My goal is 350whp. I like the idea of the greddy one because i can install it now until i upgrade my turbo but if i buy the slow boy one i have to wait until i get the turbo to instal it and then i have to sell the greedy pipes. thats what i dont want ; buy then wait, then sell, then install. For a 350whp car whats the diferrence in perfromance on the street, strip Greddy one or slow boy? Is it worth the wait until i buy the turbo to install the fmic and turbo at the same time?

I personally like the short route piped kits. I have a dejon tool and its working great. I have a BT28 and to make it fit I had to whack off the 90* elbow, easy done with the hacksaw I have. The greddy kit has 2 problems. 1 the piping is a good 15 feet long. 2, the LICP is 2" ICD. you can (with bigger turbo) see the airflow choke on that piping. A friend with a 60 trim dropped .4 seconds just throwing on his new IC compared to the Greddy. now he has ran a 11.73 on stock bottom end FWD at 4200 ft elevation. Besides a good 2-216 fills in the opening on a 97-99 front end very well compared to seeing the end tanks on a greddy. Again only my opnion

Nothing against GReddy or SlowBoy, but I think those kits are a bit too expensive to be worth it. I've seen and worked with both and my preference is the SlowBoy kit by far, but still too much money to be worth it to me.

I ended up picking up a hybrid core of my own and making my own piping for well under half what they charge for those kits.

If your only looking for 350whp, that can be had with a smaller FMIC core. Something similar to the JRC core that so many people have had success with.
