Before ya start balling me out to go searching.. i have plenty... so please help me out.. I bought an old greddy tt off ebay that came with harness... plugged in harness... goes on fine... i also read that you need to tap the brown wire to the ebrake, so i did. the other two i was told to not worry about, one was for speedo, other dunno. Timer goes on and everythign im able to set time, but once i turn key off ignition, car goes off along with timer.... Any ideas?

not sure if this will help, but i figured out today... alright... i had my a/c on and going adn when i turned the car off... it was still going... my timer never counts down though... and the car always just shuts off.. the turbo timer will be on after car shuts off untill i push off on the turbo timer... still no count down... just seemed weird the a/c was still going after car was off, so it seems like it should be working but isnt.. any ideas anyone? Everything seems to be wired up...

as to what u just asked... yes the harness i have has the red green and other wire i can hardwire... but it also is able to just plug in... which i did... i just wanna see this timer start counting down already even if my car goes off.. shouldnt the timer count down?

If your ac stays running after the key is removed then it sounds like you tapped into an accesory wire and not an ignition. Not sure if that would cause your problem for the countdown though?

I didnt tap anything.. i just plugged harness into blue plug i saw... that was it.. and i wired the ebrake wire... that was all...

also the timer will blink off after i turn the car off... i just dunno why it wont start counting down or keep the car on...

bump... any ideas :-\

the the timer just not be working?
could i have been scammed on ebay?
just want this to work already...

ahhh... is someone.... is there anyways to ground out my ebrake wire that needs to be connected... cause when its connected it dont work.. so maybe something is wrong with that...?

I just put in an old style Greddy turbo timer in my 95. I used the wiring harness too. The wire was clipped for the ebrake, so I didn't bother connecting it. It works fine without the wire connected, so try disconnecting the ebrake wire and see what it does. It is only a safety feature that you really don't need as long as you are paying attention when you use the timer.

make sure you are in the right mode. there are 4 diff settings. P-1, P-2, L-1, L-2? i think thats what they are labeled as, but make sure it is correctly set up prior to shut off. even if the parking brake is down it will still do the count down, but it will beep and blink red.

have you tried reading the install and owners manuals...

Oh, you don't have them?

guess what I posted them on here for your perusals :thumb:

as far as the Ebrake not working you will have to wait until you get the timer's constant connected to constant power instead of ignition or accessory so it stays on before you can tell it you want safety features on or off...
You should wind up with the radio going off, engine on, and fans still running/cycling once you are done if it is correct

You need a multimeter, something is not wired up correctly on your adapter harness or something... just read the install pic and test the wires to see that they are corerct on the adapter harness

I have the blue style in mine... took me two years to find out about the parking brake "S_id" on/off feature, and the voltage monitoring setting when not counting down.

Mine only has P-1 and P-2 also. Is this an older model than the one in the instruction manual that is posted in the link? I tried some of the things in the pdf file, but they didn't work.

Slut...might you have a 1G harness?? Although I think the 1g and 2g have different plugs...just a thought.
