Good injector size for running high boost on a 20g?

Some threads that I have seen seem to reflect 750cc or 850cc. I am a ragged edge on pump type of guy, so I just wanted to see what injectors would work for 25+ PSI boost on pump (there again I don't know what the ragged edge of a 20g is at high boost) but would be sure to find it should I go 20g.

First off to run that type of boost on ANY turbo you need the supporting mods. Fuel pump, injectors, exhaust and air delivery. I am going to be running a similar set up with a TD05 20g turbo and I will be coupling that with the 255lph walbro fuel pump, DSMlink and PTE 1000cc injectors. Better to go bigger than not big enough or you'll run into issues once you turn the boost up and your injectors dont support the flow the engine requires to make the power you want. Go to extremepsi.com and look at their fuel injectors, they have quite a selection that range in price and size. I'd personally go with the PTE's or Fuel injector labs just because people have used them on this site and swear by them. Good luck

The best injectors are denso, go with 1000cc go bigger and dual 255. Also upgrade the fuel feed and return lines to ss braided lines

I think youll be hard pressed to run 93oct at more than 25psi. Im not sure how big a 20g is, but that sounds like knock area on pump imo.

I run 1000cc PTEs and love em. So far no problems, just make sure you get SPEIFICALLY pte brand seals, or else it wont work and theyll leak.
But if your thinking of such high boost, why not get 1600s and go cornfed....
I should have done that personally, now im stuck with near brand new 1000s and ill be swapping them out within a month for sure to upgrade already.

Wanted to go cornfed but my local E-85 pump shut down after being opened just 4 months. Now the closest location is once again 65 miles away.

now no matter what turbo, you will know what injectors will work with your set up (assuming you know the flow rate of the turbo).

Damn, that sucks dude. They are closing left and right though. Well, if you have to use 93 then id think 1000s would be more than adequate, i havent done the math but ive seen 50lbs on my turbo and i wasnt too close to 100% IDCs iirc.
If you start running into knock issues, then maybe an upgrade to the turbo would let you make good numbers while still on pump. While laggier, larger turbos seem to facilitate pump better than small. Probably IAT related due to smaller turbos working their ass off to flow that much.

i've been thinking of switching to e85 soon too. had it running on the STi a while ago and was making good power. closest place is 4 miles away too. Sheetz, it'll never shut down.

Thats because e85 was a huge epic failure. Doubt there will be any soon.
