GM MAF Translatior questions

yes, i have some questions before i get a translator for my eclipse. i have a 95 eclipse GSX. i am currently putting a 97-99 head on it that has the CAS on the back of the head.i want to know how dose this translator work? and also were do you put it at? i have a more questions too. if you need to know anything ask i will give you all the details.

So it will go before my BOV and after the bend in mt intake piping? and do i need the 3" or the 3.5"? also if i need to reprogram my idle and eveything do i need a dsm link or ### do i need?
