With the newest version of the MAFT, Version 2.0+, I was able to sell my SAFC because I didn't need it anymore.

Because fuel adjustments cant be made with the maft and translator

reason why i was asking is because i heard that yes it is possible with the maf t only, but that the s afc or a vpc, would do a much better and precise job ...
but also harder, what do u think?

No because with the new version you can make adusments at the same rpm ranges as the afc.

i like the fact that u can see on the screen what s going on, but isn t it just better with the maf t to let it do the jobs itself ??

The new version of the MAFT can adjust in 2%'s... The old one was like 5% per click or someshit.

With the AFC or AFC 2 you can adjust in 1% changes.

Personally I set just the idle and base with my MAFT v2.xx then fine tuned with the AFC2.

You dont NEED the AFC but its nice to have and the screen does display some handy info too. For example my Pocketlooger airflow only goes to like 1608, but my AFC displays the 1800+ I hit.
